Custom Sofas

Childress Fabrics and Furniture started making custom sofas over 30 years ago when an Interior Designer had a project to create a sofa with custom dimensions. It was designed for the living room of a customer who was very tall. To fit him comfortably the sofa seat was custom designed to be higher in the seat and back.

Today we have mastered creating custom sofas to customers' exact specifications. Whether we are making an existing sofa in different dimensions for different body types or creating a sofa from scratch from a picture or sketch, we have the expertise to make it happen.

We build a high-quality sofa. Our construction is:

8-way hand-tied suspension
Kiln-dried hardwood frames
Double dowelled joints that are glued screwed and corner-blocked

This is the highest quality construction used in building a sofa.

Custom Sofa Designs

Our process is simple:

Choose your sofa design
Contact us with the SKU number and the dimensions you need
Visit either our Dallas Store or Addison Store to choose your cover
- Or we can do COM (Customers Own Material)
Pay a 50% deposit as a down payment
The sofa is built and either delivered or it can be picked up at our furniture manufacturing plant.
