Childress Fabrics Sample Policy

We offer two sample options for your buying needs.

Cutting For Approval (AKA: CFA): This is a small sample cut from the same bolt of material your yardage will be cut from. This option is primarily used to check dye lots before ordering and will not represent the entire pattern of a specific material. Along with this we will reserve the material for 7-10 days depending on manufacture until the sample is approved.

Memo Sample: This is a sample that is from a random dye lot and may not represent the current dye lots in stock. Memo samples are larger samples intended to show the majority of the pattern repeat and Colors of a specific material but may not show all. Memos are considered to be on loan as long as you need them, we ask once you are done to ship them back to the appropriate manufacture. Memos may take as much as two weeks to be received.

Samples are normally cut and sent by the vendor in which the fabrics come from, Childress fabrics does not guarantee the size of samples. If you need a sample that is bigger than normal you may want to buy 1 yard or set minimum to see full pattern repeats and colors. 

Samples are normally shipped by mail and are not traceable.
